The crushing ratio of rod mill machine is 15:1 to 20:1. The conventional crushing and grinding process is composed of crusher, rod mill and ball mill. The feeding particle size of ball mill is too high, which results in large energy consumption, grinding medium consumption and liner consumption. Because the grinding rod is in line contact, rod mill machine has selective grinding effect and the large material is first grinded. Therefore, rod mill machine has narrow product size, uniform fianl praticle size, less over-crushing phenomenon and high grinding efficiency.

Process Characteristicsof Rod Mill Machine

1.Save power. Rod mill machine can save more than 40% power than the old type rod mill equipment. Compared with the particle size characteristics of the ball mill, the particle size characteristic curve of the rod mill machine in the open-circuit operation is almost the same as that of the ball mill in the closed-circuit operation.

2.Uniform discharging and high output. Rod mill machine adopts advanced controllable feeding and discharging rod mill technology with the combining of actual user's grinding materials and the suitable grinding media, and changes the surface contact of the traditional ball mill to line contact, so that the discharge particle size of rod mill machine is more uniform and the output is higher.
