If the grinding rod is too soft, it is easy to bend when the cylinder rotates, and the bending will cause premature damage and winding of the grinding rod. The winding of the grinding rod will make it difficult to clean the mill and waste time.
Grinding Uniformity of Gold Rod Mill
Gold rod mill is a kind of grinding equipment which uses steel rod as grinding medium to grind materials. The grinding uniformity of the gold rod mill is mainly affected by many factors such as grinding time, grinding concentration, mill speed, grinding medium, and material particle size. In order to achieve better grinding uniformity of the gold rod mill, the grinding time is 3 ~ 4min, the grinding concentration is 80%, the mill speed is 60% ~ 76%. The size of the grinding medium and the installed capacity is determined according to the actual situation, and the material particle size is better controlled within the larger size of grinding. If the above aspects are set to a better range, the discharge particle size of the gold rod mill can reach the set target.
Production Capacity Analysis of Gold Rod Mill
The production capacity of gold rod mill is related to the following factors: grind ability of ore, the particle size of ore and final products, type and size of grinding machine, shape and size of lining plate, shape, size, proportion, hardness, and density of grinding medium, working speed of the mill, the filling rate of grinding medium, grinding concentration, return sand volume and working efficiency of classification equipment. Because there are many factors affecting the production capacity of gold rod mill, and the variation is large, there is no accurate theoretical formula for calculating the production capacity of the rod mill. Therefore, the production capacity of the gold rod mill is generally calculated based on an empirical formula and approximate method. There are two commonly used calculation methods: the unit production capacity calculation method of gold rod mill according to ore feeding (also known as cubature calculation method) and grinding power calculation method.
