How to select a rod mill and ball mill

1.Look at the processed materials. The mineral industrial rod mill is suitable for brittle materials, such as tungsten tin ore or rare metals, and the ball mill is suitable for metal, nonmetal ore, or stone.

2.Look at the separation process. Rod mill is suitable for gravity separation or magnetic separation production line and is also used in the first stage of second-stage grinding.

3.Look at the output requirements. The mineral industrial rod mill has a larger output and more uniform discharge, which can avoid over-grinding.

4.Look at the feeding size. The rod mill requires the feeding particle size is less than 30mm, which will cause the steel rod skew.

5.Look at the grinding fineness requirements. The rod milling is more suitable for rough grinding, and its discharge fineness is between 0.833-0.147mm.
