Working Principle of Rod Grinding Mill

Rod grinding mill machine is an asynchronous motor connected with a small gear through a reducer, which directly drives the surrounding big gear set to slow down and rotate, and drives the rotary part to rotate. The cylinder body of rod grinding mill plant is equipped with appropriate grinding medium - steel rods. Under the action of centrifuga and friction force, the material to be ground continuously enter into the cylinder of rod mill from the feeding part, and is ground by the moving grinding medium and discharged out of the rod mill machine through the force of overflow and continuous feeding for the next processing stage.

1.Compared with the traditional type of grinding mill equipment, the rod grinding mill can save more than 40% power. The particle size of the product of rod mill machine is uniform and the slime is less. The product size characteristic curve of open circuit rod milling plant is almost the same as that of a closed circuit ball mill.

2.Uniform discharge and high output. Rod grinding mill equipment adopts the advanced controllable feeding and discharging technology, combined with the actual user's grinding materials to match the appropriate grinding body of rod mills and change the surface contact of the traditional ball mill into line contact, which makes the particle size of rod mill machine is more uniform and the output is higher. Rod grinding mill machine is suitable for ores with different hardness (Mohs hardness 5.5 ~ 12).
