Precautions and Requirements
1.If you are ready to stop, you can slowly release the throttle, and then let the diesel engine idle for 3-5 minutes under no-load condition before turning off.
2.When the diesel engine uses soft water as the coolant, if the ambient temperature is below 5 ℃, the water should be drained after shutdown. If antifreeze is used, when the ambient temperature is close to the freezing point of antifreeze, the coolant should also be drained to avoid freezing and cracking the diesel engine.
3. After the shutdownof the diesel generator, the abnormal phenomena or faults in the operation process should be checked and eliminated in time.
Daily Maintenance for Diesel Generator
Check the amount of fuel in the fuel tank and fill it up.
Check the oil level in the oil pan, add enough if insufficient.
Check and eliminate water leakage, oil leakage, and air leakage.
Check the stability of all accessory devices.
Check the liquid level of the water tank and add enough if it is insufficient.
