Structure Type of Winch

The winch converts the electric energy into mechanical energy through the motor, that is, the rotor of the motor rotates and outputs, and then drives the drum to rotate after being decelerated by the V-belt, shaft, and gear.The drum winding steel wire rope and through the pulley to make the crane hook lift or drop the load, convert the mechanical energy into mechanical work, and complete the vertical transportation, loading, and unloading of the load. The rope groove participates in the load-bearing, which can change the stress distribution law of the drum and reduce the stress on the drum wall.

Precautions of Winch

1.The wire ropes on the reel should be arranged neatly. The machine shall be stopped and rearranged in case of overlapping and skew winding. It is strictly forbidden to pull and step on the wire rope with hands or feet during rotation. The wire rope is not allowed to be fully released, and at least three turns should be reserved.

2.The wire rope shall not be knotted or twisted, and it shall be replaced when the wire breakage exceeds 10% within a pitch.

3.In case of a power outage during operation, the power supply should be cut off and the lift should be lowered to the ground.

4.After the operation is completed, the material tray should be dropped to the ground and the electric box should be locked.

5.The local damage due to spontaneous combustion about the wire rope in the process of use and mechanical wear is inevitable, so protective oil should be painted at intervals.

6.Overloading is strictly prohibited.

7.Pay attention not to get knotted, flattened, arc damage, and chemical medium erosion during use.

8.It is not allowed to lift high-temperature objects directly, and the objects with edges and corners should be protected.

9.The steel wire rope used should be checked frequently during use, and it should be scrapped immediately if it reaches the scrap standard.

Common Faults of Winch

1.The winch is not fixed firmly and the ground anchor is not set firmly, which leads to the displacement and overturning of the winch.

2. There is no protective device on the drum to prevent the wire rope from slipping or the protective device is unreasonable and unreliable, causing the wire rope to from the winch.

3.The end of the wire rope is not fixed or the fixation does not meet the requirements, resulting in the wire rope falling off.

4.The brake of the winch fails and cannot be positioned.

5. Inaccurate positioning of the shaft end of the rope drum causes fatigue fracture of the shaft.

Installation location

1.Set up the operation shed, and ensure that the operators can see the commander and the dragged or lifted objects clearly. The buildings, scaffolds, materials, and components stacked on-site during construction shall not affect the driver's monitoring of the whole process within the scope of operation. The top of the operation shed in a dangerous operation area shall meet the requirements of the protective shed.

2.The foundation is firm. The winch shall be kept away from the dangerous operation area as far as possible, and the place with high terrain and solid soil shall be selected. The ground anchor shall be buried and locked with the winch base with steel wire rope. The front pile shall be driven to prevent the winch from moving and overturning.

3. Reel direction. The drum is aligned with the center of the guide pulley, and the distance from the drum to the first guide pulley is as follows: the grooved drum should be 15 times greater than the width of the drum, and the grooveless drum should be 20 times greater than the width of the drum, so as to prevent the wire ropes from overlapping each other and the wear of the flange and wire rope of the guide pulley when the drum is running.
