Introduction of Magnetic Separation Equipment
Magnetic separation is a widely used mineral processing method. All lean magnetite ores are processed by low-intensity magnetic separation. The permanent magnet cylinder magnetic separator is usually used for the second stage separation. The first stage discards part of the gangue minerals under the coarse grinding, and the resulting coarse concentrate is reground and re-selected. The crushed magnetite ore can also be pre-selected with magnetic pulleys to remove massive gangue and surrounding rock mixed during mining. The weakly magnetic hematite ore can be directly separated by a strong magnetic field magnetic separator or after being magnetized and roasted, it can be separated by a weak magnetic field magnetic separator. Most manganese minerals and wolframite can be separated by a high magnetic field separator.
Working Principle of Magnetic Separation Equipment
After the pulp flows into the tank body through the feeding box, the ore particles enter into the feeding area of the tank body under the action of the water flow of the feeding spout. Under the action of the magnetic field, the magnetic particles are magnetically aggregated to form a "magnetic group" or "magnetic chain". The "magnetic group" or "magnetic chain" moves to the magnetic pole in the slurry and is adsorbed on the cylinder.
