1. Put in the appropriate dose
Flotation reagent is the main factor to adjust the floatability of minerals. Insufficient dosage will make it difficult to sort, and excessive dosage will reduce the quality of the concentrate. In the actual production process, only a small amount of collector needs to be added to the flotation separator to form a hydrophobic film on the surface of the mineral. In the actual application process, as long as the material composition of the ore remains unchanged, the dosage of the agent cannot be changed arbitrarily. The approximate range of the amount of commonly used flotation reagents can refer to the following data: the amount of collector is 20～1500 g/t.
2. Keep the flotation liquid level in a stable state
In actual operation, the operator must ensure that the flotation liquid level is in a stable state. If the liquid level rises and falls suddenly, the stability of the entire flotation process will be damaged and the flotation effect will be affected. If you want to increase the flotation level, you can raise the tailings gate of the next operation of this operation. When raising the gate, you should raise it slowly, less frequently, and raise it to step by step. Don't raise it too high at once, otherwise, it will go to the opposite side. If you want to lower the flotation level, you can lower the tailings gate of the next operation of this operation. When lowering the gate, you should descend slowly, less slowly, and descend step by step, not too low.
3. The slurry concentration and grinding fineness should be moderate
The concentration of the slurry is a very important factor in the flotation process. The operator must consider the nature of the ore and the current flotation conditions when adjusting the slurry concentration of the ore flotation machine. When the mineral flotation proportion is larger and the particle size is coarser, a thicker pulp is required; on the contrary, when the mineral flotation proportion is smaller and the particle size is finer, a thinner pulp is required. The slurry concentration of common flotation roughing operation is 25-45%, and some can reach more than 50%.
4. Maintain proper flotation time
When the floatability of the mineral is good, the content of the flotation mineral is low, the particle size of the flotation supply is appropriate, the concentration of the slurry is small, and the action of the agent is strong, the more the flotation separator machine is inflated, the shorter the flotation time is required. Otherwise, a longer flotation time is required. Note: Increasing the flotation time can increase the recovery rate, but the concentrate grade will decrease.
