Six common faults and solutions for vibrating feeders

The vibrating feeder is a commonly used feeding equipment. In the production process, the block and granular materials can be uniformly, quantitatively, and continuously fed from the storage bin to the receiving device. In the sand and gravel production line, the crusher can be fed continuously and evenly, and the materials can be coarsely screened. 1. The vibrating magnetic feeder produces loud noise and impact sound when working

Causes: the anchor bolts or the bolts connecting the exciter and the tank are loose or broken; the vibration spring of the vibrating feeder is broken; the voltage of the stone vibrating motor is unstable.

Solution: Check the bolts everywhere, tighten and replace the bolts in time; adjust the motor control to maintain the rated working voltage to avoid collisions between machine parts and unstable voltage during the vibration process.

2. It is normal during the empty test run, and the amplitude drops a lot after load

Cause: The feed port of the vibrating feeder machine is improperly designed, and the trough of the equipment bears excessive pressure.

Solution: Redesign or improve the silo opening, reduce the equipment feed pressure, and ensure that the equipment works in a stable production environment.

3. The stone vibrating feeder machine does not feed or feeds insufficiently

Cause: The vibration of the trough cannot reach the specified amplitude range.

Solution: Check whether the trough of the feeder is subjected to the load pressure of the silo for a long time, and adjust it in time; check the tightness of the spring plate compression bolt; check whether the gap between the iron core and the armature is maintained within the range of 2.0±0.1 mm Internally if the gap is too small, it will affect the feeding capacity of the feeder.

4. The feeder equipment has a small amplitude and lateral swing

Cause: Two vibration motors are running in the same direction; one of the feeders fails.

Solution: Check the wiring of the vibration motor to ensure that the two vibration motors are running in opposite directions; replace the damaged parts and motors in time.

5. The vibrating machine does not vibrate after turning on the power

Cause: the fuse is blown; the coil wire is short-circuited or the lead wire connector is disconnected.

Solution: Replace the fuse; check the resistance with a shaker or ohmmeter, deal with the open circuit or connect the lead wire.

6. The machine works intermittently or the current fluctuates up and down

Causes: the coil is damaged or the contact is poor; the control box is contacted poorly.

Solution: Check whether there is a short circuit between coil layers or turns or whether the lead-out connector is connected, and repair or replace the coil in time; check whether the wiring of the control box is loose, and re-reinforce the solder joints of the control box.
