Introduction of Flotation Mining Equipment

Flotation mining equipment refers to the mechanical equipment that completes the flotation process. In the floatation machine, the slurry is treated by mixing and aerating, so that some of the ore particles are selectively fixed on the bubbles, and the floating surface is scraped out to form foam products, while the rest is retained in the pulp to achieve the purpose of separating minerals. There are many structural forms of flotation mining machine, and the mechanical stirring flotation machine is commonly used at present.

Introduction of Flotation Process

The flotation process is the same as other beneficiation methods since the preparation of materials must be done before separation, that is, the ore must be ground and classified to achieve the concentration and fineness suitable for flotation.

1.The adjustment of pulp and the addition of flotation reagent. The purpose is to cause the difference of mineral surface properties, that is, to change the wettability of the mineral surface, adjust the selectivity of the mineral surface so that some mineral particles can be attached to the gas saturation, while others cannot adhere to bubbles.

2.Stir and cause a lot of bubbles. With the aid of the aeration and stirring effect of the flotation mining equipment, the air in the slurry is dispersed to form a large number of bubbles, or the air dissolved in the slurry is precipitated slightly.

3. Mineralization of bubbles. The selective attachment of ore particles to bubbles is the basic behavior in the flotation process.
