Working Principle of Mechanical Flotation Machine
When the mechanical flotation machine is working, with the rotation of the impeller, the pulp in the tank is sucked from the lower end of the impeller to between the impeller blades from the surroundings through the bottom of the tank. At the same time, the low-pressure air from the blower also enters through the air distributor of the hollow shaft and impeller. After the pulp and air are fully mixed between the blades, they are pushed out from the syncline around the upper part of the impeller, and then enter the whole slot after the stator flows steadily and directionally. The bubble rises to the foam stability zone, and after the enrichment process, the foam flows out of the overflow weir and flows into the foam tank. A part of the pulp flows to the lower part of the impeller and then is stirred by the impeller to form mineralized bubbles. The remaining pulp flows to the next tank until it finally becomes tailings.
Performance Advantages of Mechanical Flotation Machine
1.High separation accuracy. It has strong adaptability to coal quality, high separation precision, and high yield, especially for difficult separation coal. The ash content of clean coal can be reduced by 1-2% compared with conventional mechanical stirring flotation machine.
2.High output and low cost. The processing capacity is large, which makes the processing capacity is 2-3 times that of a conventional flotation machine. Compared with a conventional mechanical stirring flotation machine, it can save 1 / 3-1 / 2 of electricity.
3. High automation and easy maintenance. There are no running parts in the mechanical flotation cell, so it is easy to maintain. It covers a small area and saves capital investment. At the same treatment capacity, the floor area is only 40-60% of that of mechanical stirring type with simple operation and high automation.
