Working Principle of Wood Log Chipper

The branches need to be cut with a blade due to their willful and unbreakable characteristics. The wood chipper is driven by a diesel engine, and it can be operated by starting the diesel engine outdoors.The diesel engine wheel starts to rotate, and under the belt transmission operation, the main engine wheel also continuously rotates, which drives the knife roller on the main wheel to rotate. The branch is put into the feeding port. After the branch is crushed by the pressure roller, the branch is extruded and cut into small wood by the blade cutting operation on the knife roller. The small wood directly flows out from the upper spray discharge port.

Maintenance of Wood Log Chipper

1.If the rivet head of the impeller is worn out, the worn rivet head can return to the original normal state by pressing the impeller body and the hub with electric welding.

2.For the situation that fatigue crack is easy to occur at the rivet hole, the whole unused new welding rod can be used to repair the crack, but the crack shall be repaired symmetrically with the impeller axis line as the center. After welding, the remaining welding rod is left at the place, and then a new welding rod is used to repair the crack of the relative rivet hole. After welding, the remaining electrode is as long as the remaining electrode during symmetrical rivet repair. Ensure that the weight of the welding repair is equal. If there is no crack at the symmetrical rivet hole, the welding rod should be surfacing here to offset the welding weight of the newly repaired crack at the symmetrical rivet hole. Welding according to this symmetrical weight compensation method can repair the cracks.

The method of simple dynamic balance tests is also very simple. After supporting the impeller, gently rotate it by hand. If the impeller can not reach the balance, it will stop at the lowest point and swing left and right. If it is too heavy, spot welding on the opposite impeller to increase the weight to balance it, or use an angle grinder to grind away the weld marks of the heavier impeller to achieve balance so that the fan can be repaired for normal operation.
