Introduction of Tractor

The walking tractor can run by relying on the power of the internal combustion engine through the transmission system. The driving wheels that obtain the driving torque then exert a small, backward horizontal force (tangential force) on the ground through the tire pattern and tire surface. This reaction force is the driving force that pushes the tractor forward (also called positional propulsion). The utility model has the advantages of simple structure and low power, which is suitable for small cultivated land. The driver holds the armrest to control the operating mechanism, pull or drive the supporting farm tools for operation.

Structure of Tractor

The walking tractor is divided into three levels according to its power: less than 2.2kW, 2.2-4.5kw, and 5-13kw. According to operation performance, it can be divided into driving type, traction type, and dual-purpose type. The driving-type tractor is mainly equipped with a rotary cultivator, so it is also called a power cultivator. Traction tractor mainly supports traction type farm tools operation. The dual-purpose type can not only be equipped with rotary tillers but also can be equipped with traction agricultural implements or trailers for transportation.According to the walking device, it can be divided into wheel type, crawler type, and plowing type. The wheeled walking tractors can be divided into the single wheel and double wheel according to the number of walking wheels.

Operation of Tractor

A walking tractor has the advantages of a lightweight, small size, flexible operation, and strong adaptability. Equipped with different agricultural machinery, it can be used for plowing, rotary tilling, leveling, soil crushing, and other field operations. Equipped with a trailer, it can also be transported for short distances.When working in the field, it is not easy to cause accidents due to the slow speed. When engaged in road transportation, special attention should be paid to the safety problems of steering and connection.

Maintenance of Tractor

1.Parking place. It is better to put the tractor in the warehouse, but not with chemical fertilizer and pesticide, so as not to corrode the parts; if parked outdoors, choose a high-rise, dry, and ventilated place, and cover with plastic sheeting to prevent mechanical damage and corrosion.

2. Support and pad machine parts. The tractor should be padded with wooden piers or bricks to reduce the load of the tires. If the padded is not supported, the tires must be inflated by 10% to 20%, and the tires must be checked frequently and should not be short of air.

3.Clean thoroughly. Remove the soil and oil on the surface of the tractor, check, adjust and fasten all parts and screws comprehensively to avoid loosening and falling off.

4. Drain the oil and water. After the tractor is stopped, the cooling water, diesel oil, and engine oil in the engine should be drained completely.

5. Maintain the parts. Take a proper amount of dehydrated engine oil and pour it into the intake pipe. Then turn the crankshaft to make the engine oil adhere to the piston, piston rod, cylinder liner, and valve. And shake the piston to the top dead center of compression to prevent the valve spring, pushrod, and other parts from being compressed for a long time and losing their performance.

6. Remove the fuel injector. After cleaning the fuel injector, put it into clean diesel oil, loosen the adjusting screw, and block the fuel injector hole with a wooden plug.

7. Parts are oiled. Coat all fastening parts such as the rocker arm, high-pressure oil pipe, fuel injection, bolts, and nuts with dehydrated oil to prevent rust.

8. Good lubrication. According to the overall lubrication requirements of the walking tractor, use standard lubricants for full lubrication.

9. Bandage to prevent dust. Tie the engine's air filter, exhaust duct, water tank port, fuel tank port, and other places that are easy to enter dirt and dust, and tie them firmly with a plastic cloth or foil paper to prevent the entry of debris and dust.
