Iron ore processing techniques
The process flow of iron mine processing plants includes the crushing process, grinding process, and separating process, among which separation process mainly includes gravity separation, magnetic separation, and flotation separation. The first stage: crushing and screening
Large pieces of iron ore are evenly sent to the jaw crusher by vibrating feeder through silo for coarse crushing. After being screened by vibrating screen, the coarsely crushed iron ore is sent to a hydraulic cone crusher for fine crushing by belt conveyor.
The second stage: grinding
The iron powder sieved by the vibrating screen is evenly sent to the ball mill for grinding and graded by the spiral classifier. Those that do not meet the requirements are sent to the ball mill for continuing grinding to meet certain fineness requirements.
The third stage: magnetic separation and drying
Iron powder meeting the ore dressing requirements is sent to the magnetic separator for high-intensity magnetic separation and magnetic separation to remove impurities, and the iron powder obtained is sent to the dryer for drying to obtain iron concentrate powder.
