Application of Reversible Impact Crusher

The reversible impact crusher is called an impact crusher. It is widely used in building materials, chemical industry, coal, and other industries to crush coarse, medium, and fine brittle materials with medium hardness, such as shale, sandstone, coal, asbestos, graphite, limestone, dolomite, and rock salt. The advantages of this impact crusher are large crushing ratio, generally 10-20 with high up to 50-60; simplified crushing process with simple structure, easy use, and maintenance, etc. However, due to the concentrated wear of the plate hammer, the application of impact crusher in crushing hard materials is limited.

Working Principle of Reversible Impact Crusher

The stone falls directly into the high-speed rotating turntable from the upper part of the impact crusher machine and collides with another part of flying stones which are distributed around the turntable in the form of an umbrella under the action of high-speed centrifugal force, which result in a high-speed collision and high-density crushing. After hitting each other, a vortex motion is formed between the turntable and the casing, causing multiple blows and crushing.
