Disadvantages of Jigging
1.Large water consumption. Water is used as the medium in jigging, and the water consumption is large when circulating water is not used in the beneficiation process.
2.The beneficiation effect of the connective minerals is slightly poor. Since jigging is a kind of physical mineral processing equipment, it is separated according to the specific gravity of mineral and gangue, so the beneficiation effect for conjoined ore is slightly worse.
3. The recovery efficiency of fine particles is not high. The lower limit of effective recovery for jigging is 200 mesh (about 0.074mm).
