Small jaw crusher is a jaw crusher with the width of the feed port less than 300 mm, which can roughly crush rocks and ore. It is a common equipment in mining, building materials, coal and other industries. Small jaw crusher is small in size, easy to move, large in crushing ratio and high in yield, and occupies an increasingly important position in the crushing production line.

Working Principle of Small Jaw Crusher

The working part of the small jaw crusher is two jaw plates, one is the fixed jaw plate (fixed jaw), which is vertically (or slightly outward inclined) fixed on the front wall of the machine body, and the other is the movable jaw plate (moving jaw). Its position is inclined and forms a crushing cavity (working cavity) with the fixed jaw plate. The movable jaw plate makes periodic reciprocating motion against the fixed jaw plate, sometimes separating and sometimes approaching. When separated, the material enters the crushing chamber, and the finished product is discharged from the bottom of the small jaw crusher. When it is close, the material between the two jaw plates is crushed by extrusion, bending, and splitting. Small jaw crusher can be divided into simple swing jaw crusher, complex swing jaw crusher, and comprehensive swing jaw crusher according to the swing mode of movable jaw plate.
