Type of 4 1/4 Symons Cone Crusher
4 1/4 Symons cone crusher has two types: the standard type and the short head type. Standard type has a larger discharge opening, and produce the coarser crushed product. It is generally used for medium and course materials. The short head type has a steep crushing cone, which can influence the discharge size, and it is mainly used for fine crushing.
Maintenance of 4 1/4 Symons Cone Crusher
1. Avoid improper operation. The operator tries to make the 4 1/4 Symons cone crusher produce products with the target particle size by reducing the parameters of the tight side discharge port. However, it is easy to cause overload and runout of the adjustment ring on the side with too much feeding, which results in production loss, such as tilt and warp of adjusting ring and damage of base.
2.Ensure uniform feedingof 4 1/4 Symons cone crusher. When feeding, it is necessary to avoid the situation that the large-size stones are concentrated on one side and the small-sized stones are concentrated on the other side, so as to ensure the uniform mixing of stones.Once the feeding is not uniform, due to the abnormal increase of bulk density, the side with small particle size stone is easy to be compacted and blocked, resulting in the jumping of adjusting ring.
3.Minimize the detention of the buffer silo and improve the efficiency of the production line of 4 1/4 Symons cone crusher. Reasonable use of buffer silos/hoppers and variable-speed feeding devices (conveyor belts, plate-type vibrating feeders) can enable 4 1/4 Symons cone crusher to maintain the "full cavity" state or a long time, which easily increase the output by 10%.
