Flotation machine working principle
The flotation separation process refers to the flotation separation in mineral processing. In the flotation machine, the ore slurry treated with the added agent after aeration and stir. Some of the ore particles are selectively fixed on the air bubbles and floats to the surface of the slurry and then is scraped out, then the rest is retained in the pulp to achieve the purpose of separating different minerals. The complete froth flotation separation process in mining consists of rougher flotation, concentrate flotation, and scavenging flotation.
How to select a mining flotation machine
1. According to the flotation factory scale and the nature of the ore, such as the washability, feed particle size, density, pulp, grade, pH, etc. choose the appropriate flotation machine.
2. The concentration operation is mainly used to improve the ore concentrate grade, so the flotation foam layer should be thin to separate the gangue. It is not appropriate to use a flotation machine with a large aeration volume. Otherwise, there are differences between the froth flotation separator of concentration, roughing, and scavenging.
