Structure of Spiral Screw Classifier
Spiral screw classifier is mainly composed of screw body, transmission device, tank body, lifting mechanism, lower support (bearing bush) and discharge valve.
Working Principle of Spiral Screw Classifier
The pulp is fed into the U-shaped groove from the middle feed port on the side of the tank. With the low-speed rotation of the spiral and continuous mixing of pulp, most of the light and fine particles are suspended on it and overflow from the overflow weir, which is called overflow product. The coarse and heavy particles will settle to the bottom of the trough, pushed by the spiral blades of spial screw classifier to the top of the chute and discharged, and the conveying process will complete dehydration at the same time. If the grit enters the ball mill through the chute for regrinding, the grit entering the ball mill machine is the sand return.
